Release Description

In 2024, Dutch Death Metal pioneers Ceremony (est 1989) began recording their third album, Solitary Bleed. This album marks a new step for the band, offering a darker, more theatrical sound with the intensity of their previous work. The album was produced by Erwin Hermsen (Toneshed Studio), known for his work with Legion Of The Damned and Dead Head, among others. Frank Schiphorst (Mayan) provided the orchestral aspect, which gave the music a layered and epic dimension. Linda van Vugt (Sisters of Suffocation, Everything Decays) provided guest vocals on the title track Solitary Bleed.
Ceremony remains a name to be reckoned with in the Dutch extreme Metal scene, with a sound that cotinues to evolve and push new boundaries. With Solitary Bleed, Ceremony shows that their passion for music is still alive and kicking. The band is determined to promote the new album live in the coming years with a show on par with their new, dark sound.
